Recently did a shoot with my soon to be roommate Katie! She is absolutely gorgeous, I was so excited to do a retro inspired shoot with her.

Back in the Studio

I hadn’t been in the studio doing commercial shoots for a while, but yesterday I had two shoots in one day.  It was an extremely long day, but a good one at that. I shot with my lovely friend Ashley in the morning, and my friend Conner in the afternoon.

One Of The Best Thrift Finds Yet

I went thrifting a couple times when I was home during winter break, and during my most recent visit I found this beauty! It is in mint condition. No joke!

I got the camera, three lenses, a flash, & four filters for $15. 

Definitely one of my best thrifts yet.

Shooting with my good friend Lindsay was such a great experience.  She is a free and fun spirit and it really showed in the pictures.

This week I have a couple of senior shoots and for one of them I shot with a friend of mine, Allie.

It was a ton of fun and she was such a great model, definitely a natural.  I think we got some pretty good shots!

I got to shoot with one of my really great friends Cassie for her senior pictures.  It is so great to see how much she has grown, and how far we have come as friends.  I can’t wait to see where God takes her in the future!

Constellation

Today I had a great experience working with a friend of mine, Catie.  I had so much fun shooting with her, and I tried some new lighting set-ups.  I had never successfully captured backlighting but today I would say I did. 

I was sad today because it might have be the last time this semester that I could shoot in the studio.  I really came to love the studio even though I was hesitant in the beginning.  I have learned a ton, and have grown. What else could I ask for.

A New Experience

It is coming near the end of the semester, so that means a lot of shoots! I had one yesterday with a wonderful model Taylor. She was completely amazing, and I can not wait until we shoot again.  She has had modeling experience so we ended up with a great collaboration! 

Grunge.

Today I had a shoot with a wonderful girl named Alyssa. It was quite fun, especially with some help from my great friend Kailey. :) The idea we were trying to convey is a “rocker grunge” style.
